The KISS THE SKY band stars former Columbia Recording artist, Jimy Bleu, the world's longest running Jimi Hendrix Tribute specialist.
Just like Jimi Hendrix, Mr. Bleu is also a left-handed, virtuoso guitarist and performs all of Hendrix's signature stage moves: playing behind his back, head, between his legs and with his teeth! He re-creates the iconic sounds and moves of Hendrix so well that he has even been tabbed as a touring member of Jimi Hendrix's own bassist, Billy Cox's band. Plus, Kiss The Sky's presentation is authentially detailed down to the guitar strap! Professional look-alike and sound-alike backing band musicians perform in full 1960's Hendrix replica concert wardrobe and instruments, leaving audiences in awe wherever they go.
With sets honoring his EXPERIENCE band era from the famous FILLMORE shows of the 60s complete with Liquid Light FX, through the BAND OF GYPSYS era to WOODSTOCK and beyond, Kiss The Sky is so much more than a concert. In 2016, Kiss The Sky completed their first national USA tour to rave reviews. The tour kicked off in Hollywood at the famous Whiskey a GOGO with a live TV concert devoted entirely to them on the season finale of the AXS-TV channel show 'World's Greatest Tribute Bands', broadcast live to 48 million households. The band has played to capacity audiences at clubs, theaters and festivals across the USA ever since.
